About Us

Our Mission

 Our mission is to empower families and individuals with disabilities by providing them with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to navigate the complex world of special education. We believe that every individual, regardless of their abilities or challenges, deserves access to an inclusive and quality education that promotes their full potential and well-being. We are passionate about ensuring that every student's unique needs are met, and we tirelessly work to make this a reality through informed and effective advocacy.

Our Vision

 We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their abilities or challenges, can access an inclusive and quality education that helps them reach their full potential. We see a future where special education is not a barrier but a pathway to success, personal growth, and fulfillment.

Who We Are

101 Advocacy brings experiences from both the education and family worlds. We are trained special education professionals, with advanced degrees and/or additional certifications. We have worked in the field for a combined total of more than 100 years! All advocates have a family member with special needs. This combination of experiences brings a unique service to families in Texas.​

What We Do

 We believe educating families and individuals on special education/504 laws, their rights, and implications of school's recommendations is imperative to make informed, educated decisions. We assist at conferences, Admission, Review, Dismissal (ARD) meetings and 504 meetings.

Why We Advocate

We are committed to promoting educational environments where every student is valued and supported. We advocate for diversity and strive to create a more accessible and equitable education system. We believe in strong collaboration between families and schools  to get effective educational programs,  services, and supports for students with disabilities.  We believe the student's plan must be clearly and specifically crafted and individualized so that it will meet each student's  individual needs.
