Jan Bennett

   Jan holds a master’s degree in Special Education from Lamar University. Over her 20‑year career in education, she spent 11 years providing direct student support as a special educator, specializing in co‑teach frameworks, specialized instruction, and behavioral support. For the past nine years, she has served as a Special Education Campus Coordinator, leading compliance efforts and supporting instructional staff. Jan is a mother of two and grandmother of two. Her commitment to the field is personally inspired by relatives who navigate speech impairments, dyslexia, and ADHD. 

Sylvia Farber

 Sylvia, owner and founder of 101 Advocacy, holds a BA in Special Education and Elementary Education from Florida Southern College and a master’s degree in Special Education from Florida State University. She has served in multiple special education roles, including classroom teacher, Special Education Department Head, and Alternative Certification Instructor. Since 2008, Sylvia has supported families as an advocate, guiding them through every stage of the special education process. Sylvia is a mother of three. Her deep commitment to the field is personally inspired by a relative who navigates a rare health‑related disability. 

Nancy Neugebauer Guido

 Nancy holds a BS in Psychology, a Master of Educational Psychology, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration—each from Texas A&M University. Over her 40‑year career in special education, she has served as a teacher, principal of special education campuses, and Director of Special Education. Her experience spans all instructional levels and the full continuum of services. Nancy is a mother of two and grandmother of four. Her dedication to the field is personally inspired by a relative who navigates a learning disability. 

DeNette Krawczynski

 DeNette holds a BA in Special Education and Elementary Education from The University of Texas and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. Across her 36‑year career, she has served as a teacher, Special Education Area Coordinator, and Director of Special Education, with experience supporting students across all instructional levels and service settings. DeNette is a mother of two and grandmother of five. Her commitment to special education is personally inspired by relatives who navigate learning disabilities and health‑related disabilities.  

Lauren Pena

 Lauren holds a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Houston. Over her 13‑year career, she spent her first six years providing direct student support in a range of settings, including behavioral, inclusion, and self‑contained classrooms. For the past seven years, she has excelled as a Special Education Campus Coordinator at both the middle and high school levels. Lauren is a mother of two. Her dedication to the field is personally inspired by relatives who navigate learning disabilities and speech delays.
